BMW 1 Series Convertible Announced
The first official word on the
2008 BMW 128i convertible was
announced on September 30, 2007. BMW USA
issued a press
release indicating that the 128i convertible will be available
in Spring of 2008 and the 135i convertible in the Fall of 2008.

128i Convertible, which joins the new 1 Series Coupe going on
sale in the spring of 2008, will be powered by BMW's 3.0-liter, 230
horsepower inline six-cylinder engine generating 200 lb-ft of
torque.
Like the 128i Coupe, the 128i Convertible will
feature Valvetronic valvetrain management and aluminum/magnesium
cylinder block construction--core elements of BMW's
Efficient Dynamics.
We first reported that there were spy photos posted around the
Internet on the 1 Series convertible. This was the original
photo that we saw:

2009 BMW 135i Convertible - Detroit Auto Show
The North American debut of the
BMW
135i convertible was showcased at the Detroit Auto Show on
January 13, 2008. Also announced was the long awaited pricing
for the BMW 1 series convertibles:
- 128i convertible base price - $33,875
- 135i convertible base price - $39,875

On October 14, 2007 we finally received the BMW North America
version of the 1 Series color brochure in PDF format. If you

had eagerly awaited the BMW 128i brochure for the US market

we located for other English speaking markets.
We were even able to locate a BMW 1

BMW
1 Series Chauffeurs Italian Wedding
When I was traveling in Rome this June I caught up with a bride and
groom that came to the Coliseum to shoot their wedding photos.
Their car of choice for transportation? The BMW 1 Series four
door sedan; BMW 120d (diesel). The four door version is not planned to be in the USA in
2008 but who knows what the future will hold.
The 2008 BMW 128i 2-door coupe is what will arrive in 2008 but as
you can see from the photos, the BMW 120 d sedan is a good looking
car and large enough for a bride's dress!
 Now the bigger question is why does the groom have a broken hand and
foot? If it was a pre-martial argument..we know who won the
fight!
New Photos Released - BMW Canada Website
The Canadian BMW website released some great new photos of the

on the BMW European website.
